Prior to your stay
The North Block team will reach out by email or phone prior to arrival to answer any questions and help curate each individual stay for special requests, winery appointments or reservations.
When arriving at North Block
A touchless check-in protocol has been crafted for your arrival experience to the property. When arriving on property, we will be welcoming you for “touchless” check-in in our lobby area. If payment in full has already been taken during the reservation process, all that will be required is a verbal authorization of the last 4 digits of your credit card number for incidentals. You will be escorted (while maintaining social distancing of course!) to your guest room which will be unlocked upon your arrival.
Housekeeping Protocol
We’ve always believed in the art of housekeeping, in fact, to the point of obsession. Cleanliness is one of our most commonly received compliments and we will continue to offer stayover and turndown service unless the guest decides otherwise. We continue to pride ourselves on our approach, however for your ease of mind, we would like to share with you our fresh housekeeping protocols.
We have allotted extra time during the housekeeping process in order to pay extra close attention to all touchpoints including light switches, fans, shade pulls, faucet handles and remote controls.
Additionally, some soft goods such as throw pillows and throw blankets will be removed from guest rooms. Please let us know if you would like any additional pillows and blankets delivered.
We will continue to offer stayover service unless the guest decides otherwise.
Poolside
We’re fortunate to have a spacious pool area to be enjoyed whilst adhering to social distancing requirements. Additionally, our team will be monitoring and housekeeping the pool area each 30 minutes for your safety.

With everything within walking distance and access to nearby bike trails, Yountville is an ideal open air destination to be savored, even from 6 feet apart.
Health is wealth
All guests of North Block are legally required to report any signs of illness, symptoms or potential exposure. Anyone with a fever, showing signs of illness, or exhibiting virus symptoms will be advised to see a doctor immediately and asked to leave the property. Similarly, our team members are legally required to do the same.
Wearing is caring
Masks are required to be worn by everyone inside of the hotel, including guests, team and vendors. Our entire team is trained on the importance of taking precautions to provide a safe environment for our guests. We’ve always been good at smiling with our eyes and now we’re pros.

Upon departure, simply drop your room key in the “check-out” at the front entrance. We will email your final folio to your email address on file. We are filled with gratitude that you’ve found your way back to us and look forward to welcoming you back again.
